Brenel Alpacas is a family owned New Zealand alpaca business located on the Canterbury Plains south of Christchurch.
We started from small beginnings with 2 wether [gelded] alpacas. From the very beginning we could see great potential not only for these beautiful animals and their endearing nature but also for their luxurious fibre.
We are committed to excellence in our herd improvement and elite fibre production.
We are realising our goal by continually introducing international and national award winning genetics into our herd through sires or their progeny.
Another important factor in our breeding program is to breed alpacas with calm, gentle and caring natures.
We specialize in breeding and selling quality huacaya alpacas, alpaca fibre for fibre artists, NZ grown and processed alpaca knitting yarn and hand knitted alpaca garments for all ages.
